High Yieldin' Bock!

We transfered the Bock today to the secondary fermenter. Since the Bock is a lager we kept it in the garage for a few days to cool the temp down. Supposedly Bocks are fermented at a low temperature. We will finish up the settling and fermenting process in the house this time around. I think this one is going to be our biggest yield yet. Somehow we managed to brew more than the carboy could hold and almost had an overflowing tragedy. Now that would have been a shame. All that good beer on the floor. Tsk, Tsk. The biggest tragedy about this brew is that since we did brew to much I actually had to dump it. I am ashamed to even type the words. If only we had had a second carboy to use. We will be bottling in the next week for sure. It will be interesting to see how many bottles we end up with this time.
