Death by Barleywine- The Results

Sampled my first bottle of Death tonight. Paired it with a nice steak and potato meal. Overall impression was nice taste and definitely some punch. About three drinks in the roof of my mouth went numb. Never a bad sign with a homebrew. Taste profile is somewhere between the West Coast Blonde and the Rockin' Red. Leaning toward the Blonde. All in all a success! I will be getting another kit before it goes away for the season.
